New Business Leaders for the New World 2nd ed. 

(NBL2)


Under the Business Lead Project 2, SGH Warsaw School of Economics (Warsaw, POLAND) invites talented and forward-looking young female students and dedicated academic staff to participate in a two-week Intensive Educational Program on entrepreneurship and business management. 

The program is addressed to the students of partner universities from the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Peru. Female students from the partner universities representing those countries will be qualified in the transparent selection process to participate in the program.   

Participation in the NBL2 program will be offered to successful female students which will meet the criteria of the recruitment. Recruitment to the program will be conducted by SGH.  

The NBL2 program will start with a virtual part and will be continued physically in Warsaw (Poland). The program will include didactic components and additional cultural and networking events which allow to meet Polish students and businessmen/businesswomen and learn about Polish cultural and historical heritage. 

Elements of the Program:

  

Week One  

  1. Poland and Europe [virtual/blended] 8 hours: history, culture, heritage, language, social and economic opportunities  
  2. Women Entrepreneurship [in class] 8 hours: how to establish and manage the business; between theory and practice; design thinking methodology
  3. Business models creation [in class] 8 hours: how to design optimal business model  
  4. Business simulation game [in class] 16 hours: practical exercise on running own business 

 

Week Two  

  1. Women in Business [seminar] 8 hours: with the participation of the most successful Polish businesswomen, experience sharing and exchange of good practices on how to establish a successful business  
  2. Business model presentations [pitch deck] 8 hours: mentoring and practical support n preparation of the presentation to the potential business investor  
  3. Meet your potential business partner or future investor 16 hours: networking meetings with representatives of Polish companies with experience of developing business and interest in doing business and/or investing in Africa/Senegal
  4. Business Places: visits to business developing institutions, innovations hubs, start-up accelerator etc.

Group 2: June 2026

 

Costs:

Due to public financing participation in the course is free of charge. The costs of travel and accommodation will be partly reimbursed by SGH Warsaw School of Economics. See details in Documents section.
